CALLING ALL BIKERS
Red Light New Music is organizing a performance of Mauricio Kagel's Eine Brise scored for 111 bikers on June 21st at 4pm on the corner of Bleeker and Cornelia Streets. Bikers ride past the crowd while whistling, singing and making other sounds at various points. The performance should last between 60 and 90 seconds. The performance will take place during a block party sponsored by Make Music New York- so there will be bands and other performances to enjoy. We invite any and all who would like to participate in this exciting performance to join us. If you are interested, please send an RSVP email to redlightnewmusic@gmail.com or message Red Light on Facebook by June 20th. All you need is a bike, a bell and a helmet (only bikers who bring helmets will be allowed to participate). Red Light will provide instructions once you arrive. --- Advance tickets are available here for Christopher Cerrone's one act opera Invisible Cities.
