Red Light New Music kicks off its season with a double-bill: a composer
portrait of Daniel Vezza (8pm) and concert of premieres (10pm) by
Christopher Cerrone, A. Vincent Raikhel, Scott Wollschleger, as well as
Gerard Grisey's masterpiece Vortex Temporum, featuring the renowned new
music group Flexible Music and the Red Light Ensemble conducted by Ted
Hearne.

Commissioned Works
The Church of St. Paul and St Andrew
86th Street and West End Ave
Red Light New Music premieres three newly commissioned works by Mika
Pelo, Reiko Futing, and A. Vincent Raikhel as well as Beat Furrer's
haunting voicelessness. the snow has no voice and Fabien Levy's small
treatise of love and geometry.

Red Light New Music presents the young Swedish chamber ensemble, The
Pearls Before Swine Experience in a concert featuring works by David
Lang, Tristan Murail, Mika Pelo, and new works by several up-and-coming
Swedish composers.

In collaboration with VIM TriBeCa, veteran Red Light pianist David
Hanlon performs a solo recital at the Gallerie Icosahedron, featuring
works by Luigi Nono, Salvatore Sciarrino, Thomas Ades, Helmut
Lachenmann, and three brand new works by Kyle Hillbrand, Alex Mincek,
and A. Vincent Raikhel.

Red Light in Berlin: New Music From New York

The New Music Institute of the Hanns Eisler conservatory hosts Red
Light in its European debut. An all-New York program, the concert
features new works by Reiko Fueting, Christopher Cerrone, Scott
Wollschleger, Kyle Hillbrand, Matthew Hough, and Derek Muro are
performed by Jessie Marino, John Popham and Kevin Sims.
